Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporate‘s motto is Achievement in Every Field of Human Endeavor. The Kappa Delta Chapter takes pride in striving for excellence in every aspect of our lives both within our organization and as individuals. Our primary philanthropies are St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital, our Annual Freedom Walk (the first walk being 40 miles from Covington, KY to Oxford, OH in October 2010 raising $7,000 for National Underground Railroad Freedom Center) in honor of the heroes of the Underground Railroad, and also our Guide Right program. The Guide Right program is our initiative to mentor the underprivileged youth in surrounding cities (Dayton, Cincinnati, and Hamilton). We are very active in the Oxford community as well. The Kappa Delta Chapter has established a strong relationship with the Oxford Community Choice Food Pantry and is advocates of helping families that are in poverty. We take pride in providing the campus creative events that attracts many diverse students outside of the minority population. The Kappa Delta Chapter believes in training its members for leadership in the present and for the future. The Kappa Delta Chapter will continue to live out the national motto and strive to make a positive impact on the Miami University campus and the Oxford Community.
